Jessica (she/her) is a young mezzo-soprano based in Toronto, Canada. With a wide range, a contralto-like sounding chest resonance and high extension, Jessica has been applauded for the size and strength of her voice by adjudicators, educators and industry professionals. Jessica has been called a “future Wagnerian” and “a true Verdi mezzo”. Jessica is keen to learn and as a rising young opera singer, she hopes to one day specialize in works by Wagner, Verdi, Strauss, Russian opera and Bel Canto repertoire, while maintaining her artist philosophy of being a versatile and erudite musician.
